Red Thread...

There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.

This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

A Treat

On the second day of Comic Con, Katie got to eat at her very first food truck.

My grilled cheese had more cheese than I prefer, but it was still good.

Comic Con

Katie and Jennifer went on their yearly adventure to Comic Con. Of course that provides a good opportunity for a costume!

We were ready for exploring!

I decided to dress as Furina, one of my favorite characters from the Genshin Impact game.

What Did She Get?

In addition to the birthday gifts that she received, Katie, of course, got some gifts at the Japanese store. She tried two of the popular drinks that they have in Japan, and she really wanted to try moon cakes that were in stock for the Autumn Festival.

I found out that moon cakes come in all sorts of flavors. The box we got were moon cakes with nuts. I liked the cake, but not as much as I liked the drinks I got.
