The Funny Gift

When Katie first saw her gifts, she was laughing at the stuffed animal because she had never seen one that long. It is actually more like a body pillow.

This is a mythical cat with wings. I love to use it as a pillow at night!

The First Look

When Katie came downstairs on Christmas morning, she has a very big smile with somewhat of a shocked look.

It's always so fun to come down on Christmas morning!

Diamond Art

One of the projects in Katie's advent calendar was diamond art, and she loves that. When she saw it, she knew she had to do part of it before she went to bed.

The first time I tried this was when my mom got a bookmark that you added "diamonds" to, and she let me make it.

It takes time and you have to be patient, but...

...I always have fun with it!

The Advent Calendar

This year Katie decided to save her Advent Calendar for Christmas Eve. She didn't open any of the boxes, so she would have a lot of little gifts that night.

My calendar had lots of little arts and crafts projects!

A Christmas Eve Tradition

We always watch A Christmas Story throughout it's 24 hour marathon starting on Christmas Eve. Katie has been very excited about that movie this year.

This movie just makes it feel completely like Christmas to me!

Did She Fit?

It barely happened this year, but Katie still was able to get somewhat in the stuffing pot. 

Of course, Sophie got in the way when it was time for the picture.

Every year this gets a little harder!

That Time Again

Since we were in Disneyland for Thanksgiving, we had our traditional Thanksgiving meal for Christmas, and that meal means the stuffing pot comes out. Yes, it was our annual tradition of, "Will Katie fit in the stuffing pot this year?"

I get a little less excited to try this every year, but I try to be a good sport!
