We went out looking for some new furniture for Katie's bedroom, and we decided to look at a second hand section of the store. Katie was excited to find Ronald McDonald in her search.

Time for Ice Skating
Maria invited Katie to go ice skating with her. They always have fun together.

Grand Opening
Katie and Maria decided. to go to a grand opening of an ice cream shop, not knowing that they would have to wait in line for an hour.
We weren't sure that the food was worth the wait.
Driving Class
How was it already time to learn to drive!?? Katie was very excited to get her driver's permit and enroll in classes last winter. The first time behind the wheel, however, brought on some nerves.
I had to put in lots of hours of driving. I was a little nervous the first drive which was just in a parking lot.
Visiting the Cats
Last winter, we did some renovation on our upstairs. Jennifer was nice enough to take care of our cats for a month while the workers were in and out. The cats always loved it when Katie went to visit.
I missed the cats when they weren't home!
