Red Thread...

There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.

This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

Back to DCA

We headed to Disney California Adventure next, and Katie was able to meet some new characters.

I was so excited to find Clarabelle! I had never seen her out to meet the guests!

 I really liked her!

Afterword, I finally found Mickey Mouse, and while I waited to meet him, I met this street character named Francis. She was funny!

Of course, I had to meet Mickey Mouse!

He makes me happy!

Next, I thought I better go say hi to Anna and Elsa.

Anna noticed that I had missing teeth.

She told me that Olaf loses snow teeth every day!

They're always fun to see!

I made sure to give them hugs good-bye.

After we left Anna and Elsa, we went to the Animation Academy. I learned how to draw Oswald! It was a lot of fun!

Before we went back to the hotel, we went to Main Street in Disneyland. Just as I was window shopping, I saw Pluto walk by. I waved at him, and he shocked me by taking my hand and walking through Main Street with me. He was taking a break for the night, and I got to walk him to his door.

Before he left, he gave me a hug, and...

 ...a kiss. I love Pluto!

A Magical Morning

The next day, we started our day in Disneyland. Katie was so excited to have breakfast in the park.

There's something magical about getting Mickey Mouse pancakes for breakfast!

I was so excited to run into Aurora. I hadn't seen her the last time I came.

As we talked, a surprise came from behind Aurora.

Peter Pan came and gave Aurora a flower he had found.

I thought it was so nice.

When Peter Pan left, Aurora gave me the flower!

I love her!

I took Aunt Jennifer on the teacups since they make my mom dizzy.

Later, we went to see a show we have never seen called "Mickey and the Magical Map."

I really liked the play. I saw Mickey Mouse,...

...Rapunzel, Flynn, Pocahontas, Mulan, and...

...Tiana!

An Evening in DCA

We spent the rest of the night in Disney California Adventure. As always, we had a good time!

We decided to try the dill pickle flavored popcorn in Cars Land. It was yummy!

Then Aunt Jennifer and I decided to make some funny faces.

I have so much fun with her!

When we finished, there was a dance party. I joined in for a bit before we left.

On the way out of Cars Land, we stopped for a picture.

I got Aunt Jennifer to go on Francis' Ladybug Boogie next, even though that ride makes her a little dizzy.

After that, we went to ride on The Golden Zephyr. I always like that ride, but I had never gone at night before to see everything lit up!

Next, it was time for a little shopping, and Aunt Jennifer bought me a hat.

When we stopped for dinner, I thought it would be funny to decorate my water bottle in my Christmas light necklace.

Before we headed back to the hotel, we went back to The Little Mermaid ride.

An Afternoon with Some Favorite Characters

After Toon Town, we headed over toward Critter Country to look for Katie's oldest friend, Winnie the Pooh. Before Katie met him, we stopped at the Winnie the Pooh bakery. Katie decided to try a Tigger Tail, which is a caramel, chocolate, and sprinkle covered marshmallow treat. Katie really liked it but could only eat a couple of bites at a time because it was so sweet. After her few bites, she visited her friend.

After that, we headed over to New Orleans Square. This year, Katie discovered The Nightmare Before Christmas, and she really wanted to meet Jack Skellington and Sally. We enjoyed the visit with them very much. They were pretty funny!

I wasn't sure if I was going to like a Tigger Tail, but...

...it was good in small bites.

It's always good to see Winnie the Pooh!

I will always love him!

We also liked the snow figures of Winnie the Pooh and Piglet, and..

...seeing the big pile of gifts for Pooh and his friends!

I was pretty excited to meet Jack and Sally!

They thought I should walk upside down through the park to make the happy sun on my shirt look less happy. They made us laugh!

Thanks for spending time with me!

Aunt Jennifer is a fan too, so we let her come into the picture with us!

A Fun Morning

The next morning, we headed to Disneyland early to jump in the line for the Peter Pan ride. It always has a long line, and we have never wanted to wait in it, but we decided the waiting would be easier first thing in the morning. The ride was fun, and we were glad we had gone on it.

Next we headed to the Finding Nemo ride, which Katie had requested. Shockingly, the lines were short on that one.

After that, we headed to Toon Town, which Katie always likes. She liked it even more when she unexpectedly ran into Pluto.

Even though the line was long for Peter Pan, it didn't feel that long before we were approaching our flying boat!

Before heading to Toon Town, my request was to ride the Finding Nemo submarines. My mom had never been on them, and I knew she had to.

Toon Town has the TNT box. When you push the lever, sometimes you hear the explosion sound, and sometimes you hear silly noises. Right before Pluto came, I pushed the lever and heard and explosion. I wasn't expecting it, and it scared me to death. I was about to cry when Pluto came around the corner and wanted me to play with it with him!

It was so much better to push it when Pluto was playing too!

Thanks for making me laugh, Pluto!

After playing with Pluto, I decided to go for a drive.

My mom bought me this backpack, so I could carry my own things. I didn't mind, and I even carried my mom's jacket in my backpack for her!

The End of the First Day

After the parade, we had fun going on rides. By the time it was time to go back to the hotel, we decided to ride the Monorail to cut out part of our walking time. When we got back to the room, Katie got ready for bed and was asleep in minutes after lying down.

When we were walking, we came across Dr. Facilier, the villain from The Princess and the Frog. When I asked him for an autograph, he clicked the pen on my head to open it!

Afterward, he signed my autograph book.

I can be brave around villains and look them straight in the eye!

I didn't know he was doing this in the picture until I saw the picture!

The lights on the Small World ride were so pretty!

Just like always, I looked for my Hawaiian doll as we went through the ride.

After we got on the Monorail, the worker offered to let us ride in the end with windows all around. I was so happy!

It was a great day, but I was ready to sleep after getting up at 4:30 in the morning!
