The Perfect Present

Katie's friend has a birthday coming up, and she was so happy to find the perfect gift for her.

I found some pens with her favorite character!

Star Wars Legos

As we have been watching the Star Wars movies, Jennifer was inspired to get some Star Wars Legos. It was fun for Katie to check out the finished product!

A Little Cave

When we were watching something on TV, Katie decided to build herself a little cave.

I think this is the most comfortable way to watch TV!

A Smoothie

After the planting in the really hot weather, Katie wanted to make herself a smoothie. She shared with me, and it was pretty delicious!

I added oranges, a banana, some orange juice, and a little ice cream.

Then I mixed it all up.

It looked delicious and tasted delicious!

A Cool Shower

After our hot planting, Katie asked me if I would spray her with the hose to cool her off.

The hose water is always a little cooler than I expect!

Planting

Once we got our raised garden bed set up, we got some seeds and seedlings to plant. Katie was a good sport to help, but we chose the hottest time of the day to do it which wasn't the most fun. 

After planting a red bell pepper seedling, I started my seed plantings!

It was so hot!

A Raised Vegetable Garden

Last year, my sister gave me a raised garden box for my small back yard. Katie and I decided to put it together and do some planting.

After we slide the frame together, we started filling in the bottom.

We had to leave a little space between the boards for the water to escape.

It was so easy to build it!
