Where's Katie?

As soon as Katie left on her trip, I always had the cats close by me. I'm sure they didn't know what to do with themselves without Katie.

Holding On and Letting Go

I've never been away from Katie as long as I was going to be away from her at Spring Break. She was so excited for her trip, and I was excited for her, but I wanted to hold on to every moment before she left for her trip.

We decided to take a selfie when it was time to go to the airport! I couldn't wait to get there!

A New Guest

We weren't very happy when we noticed that a bird had built a nest right by our front door. We know what that means...baby birds and lots of bird poop. However, it was a little exciting when Katie finally saw the bird that built it.

It's hard to see the bird, but it is up in its nest.

Excitement

Once Katie had a new suitcase, she could focus on her spring break trip. She was invited to go to San Francisco with Kai and his family, and she couldn't wait!

I was packed for my trip and just had to pass the time until it was time to go!

A New Suitcase

Katie needed a smaller suitcase than the one she usually uses, so of course, she picked out a pink one.

Pink is my favorite color, and rose gold is my favorite shade.

Those Allergies

Katie takes a very low dose of allergy medicine which keeps any allergic reactions under control. However, when she spends too much time with the cats in a confined space, her allergies tend to act up.

I spent a little too much time with Mr. Limpet, so my eyes were red and really itchy! It always helps to wash my face and hands and get some space. 

Making a Move

Whenever Katie makes a move, the cats track where she's going.

The cats and I are kindred spirits!
