A Morning in Hollywood Studios

The next morning, we headed back to Hollywood Studios. Early that morning, Katie had the chance to meet Goofy. Then, she was excited to go to The Little Mermaid show. After that, she met Daisy Duck with Ian.  It was a fun morning!

I think Goofy is really funny!

It was my first time to meet him. 

I was pretty excited for my Little Mermaid show. 

The show was short, but I still liked it a lot! 

Ian and I were very happy to find Daisy Duck!

She makes us happy!

Seeing Fantasmic

After we left the Animal Kingdom, we made our way to Hollywood Studios to see the nighttime show, Fantasmic. I didn't even think to take pictures of our show, so I downloaded a couple of pictures online to show two of Katie's favorite parts. She loved anything that involved fireworks, and she was especially happy near the end when a boat came out carrying a lot of familiar characters!

I liked Uncle Jeff as Mickey Darth Vador! 

We got to eat dinner before our show, and I got to sit by Ian! 

During our show, fireworks came out of Mickey Mouse's hands! 

At the end, I loved seeing so many characters on the boat!

Our Afternoon in the Animal Kingdom

After our safari, we watched The Lion King show. Since it's full of music and animals, Katie was very happy there!

A little while later, we wandered down a path for a walk, and we came across Pocahontas. Katie loved meeting her and was especially proud when Pocahontas told her that she had beautiful black hair like the girls in her village.

After that, we walked through the Maharajah Jungle Trek to see a few more animals. Katie was happy to see the animals in a serene setting.

On the way out of the park, we saw Baloo and King Louie from The Jungle Book. Katie was excited to see more characters, as always. She did some dancing with Baloo before getting her picture taken.

I loved all of the big animals in The Lion King show.

We sat close to the lion.

There was a lot of singing, dancing, and acrobatics.

I was shocked to find Pocahontas!

It was so nice of her to notice my black hair!

I really liked spending time with her.

Bye, Pocahontas!

When we went on our trek, we saw some fruit bats,...

…a tiger,...

…a peacock, and more!

While we waited to meet The Jungle Book characters, Ian and I decided to chase each other again. I loved it!

Hi, Baloo!

Uncle Jeff tried to get Ian to come over with me, but he didn't want to.

I had fun dancing with Baloo!

I liked both of them, but especially Baloo.

Ian was willing to take a picture with his mom and dad!

We stopped for a picture in front of Mt. Everest on the way out of the park.

An Animal Kingdom Safari

One of the moments I looked forward to the most in our trip was the Animal Kingdom Safari. We got to ride in an open-air vehicle and see a lot of the animals that live in the African savanna. We all loved the experience!

As we neared our safari loading place, we had a closer view of the Tree of Life. It had lots of animals carved into it. 

Those were our seats waiting for us! 

Aunt Grace got a good view of this animal - a relative of the deer.

Over in the distance, we saw the endangered black rhino. 

We even found large birds when we looked up high. 

We saw lots of crocodiles. 

 Some were really close!

I really liked all of the upside down trees! 

There were lots of termite mounds that the animals like to use to scratch their bodies. 

The very most exciting part was seeing this giraffe so close. I love giraffes! 

I also liked seeing the elephants, but... 

…Ian missed them. 

There were lots more elephants a little farther away. 

I had only seen a few flamingos earlier, but I got to see a whole flock on the safari. 

The cheetah was resting in the grass. 

The female lion was hanging out on the rocks.

I was pretty happy to see the zebras! 

We even saw an ostrich!

I loved this animal's horns. They looked huge!

A Morning at the Animal Kingdom

The following day, we visited the Animal Kingdom. Katie was pretty happy to get to see Ian again after a day apart. After going on a dinosaur ride, Katie and Ian were excited to see Donald Duck together. Who wouldn't be? Then we went to the Finding Nemo musical. It was done so well, and Katie was very taken by it. She especially loved the ending because bubbles started falling. Bubbles make everyone happy.

We stopped for lunch at two separate places. Katie, Jennifer, and I ate at an outdoor setting that was surrounded by birds. Katie decided that she should leave a french fry on the table for the birds. It didn't take the birds long to notice her fries, and then we had plenty of bird friends very close by to keep us company. Katie was thrilled! "They liked my food!"

Even though I was a little tired, I was ready to see the animals! 

We saw some flamingos right away! 

Aunt Jennifer is always nice to hold me up for a better view. 

We also saw black swans. 

I liked looking at all of the birds! 

 When we walked a little further, we saw the "Tree of Life!"

After my mom and Aunt Jennifer went on the dinosaur ride, we headed towards Donald Duck. Ian was excited! 

Come on, Ian! Let's go together! 

We both love Donald Duck. 

Ian seemed so happy to hug Donald! 

Donald Duck noticed my Frozen shirt and then acted out "Let It Go!" 

We were two happy kids!

We got to see some ducks by our lunch table. 

I left these french fries for the birds, and... 

…they loved them! 

It was a nice lunch!
