A Big Thumb

Katie was snacking on a mandarin orange when she discovered the orange had a hole in it where the stem had been. She pushed her thumb into the hole, and burst into laughter. "I have a big thumb just like you!" I hope my thumb doesn't really look quite that big!

What Would You Like?

A lot of times when Katie is playing with her kitchen, she decides to turn it into a restaurant. She loves to come up to us with her order pad and question, "What would you like?" When we answer, she very politely says, "Coming right up!" Then she delivers our food and starts all over again.

Going to the Movies

We decided to take Katie to the movies for her second time when the new Cinderella came out. She was excited to see that but also more than happy to see the Frozen short that played ahead of Cinderella.

I waited very patiently for my movies to start. 

I enjoyed seeing Cinderella!

Working on the Hair

Like I mentioned in the Easter post, Katie is really convinced that combing her hair makes it longer. She has worked pretty hard to make her hair grow in recent weeks.

I can just feel my hair getting longer. 

I know my hair will be as long as Rapunzel's hair soon! 

I can keep track of my hair combing in my new journal!

Waiting for Dinner

After we left Daniel's birthday party, we went to the mall to pick up some salads for everyone else's dinner. While we waited for them to be prepared, Katie waited as only Katie waits.

You might as well dance while you wait. It makes the time go quicker!

Another Birthday Party

This seems to be the season for birthday parties! A week or so after Katie went to Annabelle's party, she got invited to Daniel's party. She was very happy to go because it was at a place that is filled with different jump houses.

Who wouldn't have fun when there are so many jump houses to choose from? 

I don't usually like going down long slides. I figured out if I go down backwards, it's less scary!

After we jumped for awhile, we got pizza and cake. Yummy!

Remembering Our Trip

When we were getting ready to leave Disney World, Jeff, Grace, and Ian got Katie a present. One of the parts of the gift was a t-shirt. Every time she wears it, she remembers the trip very fondly. "Remember when I got to play with Ian?" "Remember when we saw Winnie the Pooh?" She loves her shirt!
