When I was teasing Katie, she decided to protect herself. She grabbed her Slinky and created a costume for defense. "I'm Iron Man, I mean Iron Girl!"

Easy to Entertain

I love that Katie can just take her paper and art supplies and entertain herself for hours. She has such a creative imagination.

Slinky Tricks

After Katie's dentist visit, the dentist invited her to choose a few toys to take home, and one of the toys she wanted was a rainbow Slinky. She has had so much fun with it. She feels like she can do lots of tricks with it!

 I have been learning to dribble a ball in PE. I decided it was much easier to "dribble" a Slinky!

I can even do it when I'm standing on something tall!

Working on Some Math

While I was cleaning the house one morning, Katie decided she would work on some math. She was so proud of the work she had done, just knowing that her answers were close to being correct.

While my mom cleaned, I grabbed my lap desk, some paper, and a pen, and stayed very happy. 

Well, my answers were correct or close to it, so I was happy!

Before the Bedtime Story...

My mom had picked up an ad from the grocery store during one of her visits. Katie found it and decided she must carefully read it before she heard her bedtime story.

You never know when you might find a good deal on yummy food!

Celebrating Valentine's Day

After having a Valentine's Day party at school with all of her friends, I didn't think Katie could get any more excited. Then we got home, and Katie found a gift from Garyldine, Jim, and Aunt Jody. She had such a good day!

I couldn't believe it when I found a present waiting for me at home. 

There was a little frog prince on the top of my gift. I loved it! 

When I saw Aunt Jody's name on the card with Garyldine's and Jim's, I thought she might be back in town! 

When I opened the package, I found the greatest princess book in the world! 

Thanks for making my day special! 

I ended my day perfectly with a heart-shaped pizza. What could be better?

Happy Valentine's Day

Katie woke up with a good start to her day…reading her Valentine's card from my friend, Noreen. She's ready to have a day full of friendship and kindness!
