Katie loves to create things, and she is always coming up with something new. When she was at Jennifer's, she found some bags to cut apart and make into a costume. She was pretty proud when she made an appearance to show off her new creation.

I realized that I had never posted Katie's fall school picture, so here it is.

I was pretty excited to have pictures taken with my missing teeth this year!

A Latch Hook

Katie got her first Latch Hook kit for her birthday. It will turn into Olaf from Frozen. I was surprised at how quickly she learned the technique. She's excited about it, but the project is going to take some time!

When I first was trying to learn how to latch hook, it felt hard, but it got easier quickly!

Homemade Gifts

Katie is getting excited for Christmas. With Christmas comes Nigel, Katie's Elf on the Shelf. With Nigel come Genevieve, Nigel's reindeer. Katie is so ready to see Nigel and Genevieve again. While she waits for them to arrive, she decided to make gifts for them. Since Nigel likes to write letters to Katie, she gave him some paper. Genevieve got some special treats.

I spent a long time making my gifts for my elf and reindeer. 

Then I wrapped them up with paper and pipe cleaners!

In Just a Minute

My mom wanted to do something one weekend, so I was trying to get Katie ready. She said she would get ready as soon as she read one or two or twenty books!

I could just read and read and read!

Is it Raining?

Katie loves her umbrellas. Not only does she use them outside when it's raining, but she likes to use them inside as well.

There's something fun about holding a pretty umbrella!

Creating an Airplane

Katie was interested in having her Barbies go on an airplane for a trip. She didn't have a Barbie airplane, so she changed her boat into an airplane. She's a problem solver!

I found chairs from my Barbie houses and created rows of sets like in a plane!
