Grandma likes to get me going on the swings, and then I take off from there!
Red Thread...
There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.
This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

We Match!
After Katie was done painting my mom's nails, she was so excited that they had matching nails!
I thought our nails looked beautiful!

Painting Nails
Over Spring Break, Katie convinced my mom to let her paint her nails.
I set up my nail painting shop at the dining room table.
Grandma was good at holding her hands still.
It looked perfect!

Signs of Spring
We always get excited anytime we see signs of spring early in the season.
I was happy to see some of the daffodils popping up!

Time to Play
Over Spring Break, we didn't go on any big trips. On the days we were home, we were usually walking to the nearby school, and Katie played and played on their playground. She loved it!
One of the first things I always go for is the slide!
However, these wobbly stepping stones became my favorite this year!
As my lets get longer and longer, it's easier and easier to do this.
It's all about balance!
Next, I played on the ropes.
They used to worry me a little, but I'm past that.
Time to master the balance beam.
Ta-da!
Finally, I had to make time for the swings!
Time to go home!

Scooter Rides
Spring weather means time for walks and scooter rides. Katie was so happy to be out and active outside again!
Just heading off to see the neighborhood!

Rock Tumbling - Part 4
Katie was so excited to check on her rocks that she has been polishing and prepare them for their last round of tumbling. They're looking good!
We decided to take the rocks outside to wash them off after they finished their third round of tumbling.
I had the strainer ready for my mom to drop the rocks in.
The water is so dirty after tumbling the rocks with the grit.
The rocks were already looking good!
This was one of my favorites!
When we got in, we added the last packet of grit!
I can't wait to see how they turn out!
