Another Day at School

I love having a helper on Katie's school days! We always get to school an hour early, and she's so much help!

I was working on an example of the Valentine craft my mom's students were making!

Loaning Money

When it's the 100th day of school, I usually have to borrow coins from Katie's collection to find 100 pennies for an activity that we do. She's always happy to let me use her money, which I appreciate.

Once I start counting 100 pennies for my mom, I get very interested in looking at all of my coins!

The Recorder

Katie started playing the recorder in her music class, and she has been so excited to learn how to play an instrument.

So far I know how to play three notes!

Drawing

Katie has really been enjoying drawing lately. It's relaxing for her.

I've been learning the dimensions of drawing a human face.

My people are looking more real lately!

Trying to See Grandma

Katie was heading to spend time with my mom. Instead of walking around the couch like a normal person, she decided to just climb over the top to see her.

It seemed like it would be faster to just climb over the back of the couch to see Grandma!

She's just a girl who likes to dance with her cat.

Tapping

This year, because of COVID, I don't get to see Katie at her tap dance class very often. This week, though, Katie danced in the street-facing studio, and when I went to pick her up I got to park in the front spot and see her dance for awhile. It was so much fun!

At the most, my class only has five students in it. I'm always so happy when my friend is there with me!
