Red Thread To Katie

Katie has had so many loose teeth on her lower tooth row. She was so happy to have one come out the other night.

It always feels good to have a baby tooth come out!

When we went to the grocery store, we surprised Katie by getting her a bag of her favorite cinnamon-scented pinecones.

They don't look fancy in the bag they came in, but I love the smell of these pinecones!

Katie loves her friends at school. When she practices sketching, she often practices by drawing her friends.

I wasn't sure if my friend would want her picture on the blog for everyone to see, but she's probably okay with it.

Katie has been learning a new tap dance, and she loves to practice her dance at home each night.

We haven't learned our whole dance yet, but I have plenty to practice.

Katie has been working on the art of quick pencil spinning.

It's harder than in looks to spin a pencil quickly!

Katie was so happy to receive a gift bag when she went to the sleepover for her friend's birthday.

My gift bag was full of bath bombs and candy!

Katie has been working at school on creating a "straw rocket." Each week, they have changed one variable to see if they can make it fly further.

We've had a lot of fun as we have worked on our rockets.
