When Katie was learning some sign language, she learned that the sign for "quiet" was the same sign we use to say, "Shhh!" - index finger in front of nose and mouth while we say, "Shhh!" Katie shows this in a different way. She puts the pad of her index finger on her nose and presses while she makes a sound that's a kind of like a mix between "thhh" and "shhh." She uses this sign most often when Chloe is barking and she wants Chloe to be quiet.
Quiet, Chloe!
Shhhhh!
Hey, I mean it!
Come on! Shhhhhhh!
Success!
