Red Thread...

There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.

This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

Sharing a Dinner

We were having hamburgers for dinner one night. Typically, Katie doesn't eat much of a hamburger, and Chloe gets some of her dinner. So Katie was sitting at the table, and Chloe was pacing back and forth under her chair in hopes that she might get some food. Katie wasn't in the mood for sharing, so my mom asked if she could have a bite of her hamburger so she could sneak the bite into Chloe's dish for later. Katie happy said yes and put the bite in my mom's hand.
