Sprouts

After a lot of careful watering, Katie looked at her planter one night to find sprouts poking up through the soil. "Look! My dirt has weeds!" I tried to explain that they are the beginning of flowers, but she's pretty skeptical. "They don't look like flowers!" I've convinced her to keep watering for awhile to see if eventually she'll get a pretty surprise.

I think there are weeds in there! 

I'll water them just in case my mom is right.
