Red Thread...

There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.

This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

A Dancing Update

Although Katie still talks about and misses her former dance teacher, she really likes her new teacher as well. Ms. Emily is patient and kind just like all of the teachers at her dance studio.

Katie's class has started preparing for their spring dance recital. They will be taking part in Cinderella. Katie is very happy about being in Cinderella. However, she will be playing the part of the pumpkin, and she really wants to be playing the role of Cinderella. What a surprise!

We always start our classes by stretching. 

Ms. Emily works on teaching us the proper ballet positions. 

I love every part of dancing! 

We each get our own turn to practice our poses. 

The balance beam is one of my favorite things to do.
