Coloring the Eggs

Katie loves to color the Easter eggs every year. This year instead of dying the eggs, Katie wanted to get the kit that involved painting the eggs in gold tones. When we got done, our eggs didn't look exactly like the ones on the package, but we had fun making them!

Instead of putting the eggs in dye, I slowly painted each one. 

It was surprising how long it took for each egg! 

We mixed dye with some of the gold paint to make different tones. 

I was happy when we got them all done. 

This was my favorite egg! 

Our eggs had a lot more paint lines on them than the picture on the box, but I liked them anyway! We had a good time!
