Red Thread...

There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.

This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

Waiting for Halloween

As we approached Halloween, the days got longer and longer to Katie. One night she decided to get her calendar out to count days until Halloween. I don't know what excited her more...when she saw that Halloween was the very next day or when she saw that Election Day was a week away.

I knew Election Day was coming, but I didn't know it was this close!
