A Big Loss

Right before Easter, we received some very sad news. One of Katie's dance instructors had unexpectedly and suddenly passed away in her sleep. She had been a part of Katie's life since she started dancing at two years old. In the past six years, she has almost always been one of Katie's teachers, and when she wasn't, Katie still saw her all the time.

Breaking this news to Katie about someone she adored was so sad. Katie was confused and hurt. It helped her a little to get back to her dance class and be around other people who knew Moriah like she did.

There aren't words to explain what Moriah meant to Katie, but she is one of those people who will forever have a place in Katie's heart.

I was pretty little when I started dancing with Ms. Moriah.
