Holiday Dance Observation

Every year before Christmas, families are invited into the dance classes at Katie's studio to observe a modified class. The students show families what they are working on in the classroom, perform a holiday dance, and then get to have treats in the lobby. It's always enjoyable!

A big part of our ballet class is our barre work. 

While everyone was getting set up, I talked with my friend next to me! 

Ballet work is slow and precise. 

We always try to look graceful. 

It's harder than it looks! 

My teacher is nice, but she works us hard. 

We have learned a lot! 

We've also built our muscles because we have to get in these positions, and... 

...hold them for a long time!

After our barre work, we got ready for our holiday dance. 

We had to learn the whole dance in only two weeks. 

I think we did a good job with it. It was fun!
