Red Thread...

There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.

This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

Leading Up to the 4th of July

As we got close to the 4th of July, I started talking about some of the traditions with Katie to get her excited about the day. We talked about why people wear red, white, and blue. Since her clothes from last year still fit, I let her wear them earlier in the week while we talked about our country's colors.

I was ready to ring in the 4th of July with my bell I found! 

The better thing that I found was my pair of flip-up sunglasses! 

Now I'm ready for the big day!
