An Invitation

Katie's friend, Kai, invited her for a Sunday outing. When Katie is going somewhere, she always likes to pack a crossbody bag with everything important in it.

It took me awhile to pack. I move things around in the bag all over to fit as much as I can in it!

Getting Vaccines

After getting her flu and Covid vaccines, Katie had a fever and a headache for about a day. When she started to feel better, she had lots of energy that she didn't know what to do with, so she decided to dance and sing in circles for a good hour or more.

I just sang songs from Hamilton and Six. I know almost those whole plays by heart, and I love them!

Cozy Pajamas

Katie loves to find pajamas at Costco because "they're warm and comfortable." 

The only thing that makes my comfy pajamas better is that they have a Minnie Mouse shape on them!

Another Cozy Cat

Even when Mr. Limpet isn't on a blanket, he likes to curl up to stay warm when the weather gets cooler.

Mr. Limpet loves to be on a warm lap or under a warm blanket.

The Weather is Changing

When the weather starts to feel like fall, we catch the cats curled up in a blanket most of the day.

General Washington doesn't curl up as much as Mr. Limpet, but he loves the blanket!

An Afternoon Snack

When Katie gets home from school, she is usually craving fruit.

Apples are my one of my favorite snacks.

Helping with Lunches

It's always nice when Katie helps get the lunches ready for the next day.

I don't eat very much meat, but I do love pepperoni in my lunch!

A Shopping Trip

Katie is always a good sport about visiting The Dollar Tree with me to buy things for school.

This isn't my favorite store, but I'll go there for my mom.

Time for Homework

Evenings are the time for homework. Katie is pretty responsible about that.

I enjoy the evenings with no homework, but it's not the end of the world when I have to do some.

A Weekend Walk

Another weekend, another chance for a walk.

It was a nice day for walking. Perfect fall weather!

Weekend Relaxation

On weekends, Katie likes to take it easy with her cats.

Coloring

Katie had a day off school, and she spent it sleeping in until 11:00 and coloring the rest of the day. Sounds pretty perfect!

Practicing

Katie had to memorize a speech for school, so she got comfy and started her work.

Memorizing is a lot easier in comfort!

A Sleepover

One of Katie's friends had a sleepover to celebrate her birthday. Katie was very excited to go!

Rain or shine...it's always a good day to walk with a friend!

Katie received her 7th grade school pictures.

A Famous Someone

Katie was excited to see Ralph Macchio at Comic Con. She knew him from watching Karate Kid and My Cousin Vinnie.
