Katie continues to love and look forward to school almost every single day!

We do lots of fun things in the classroom. On this day, we were estimating.

Someone Was Playing

It's not that surprising to find new pictures of Katie on my phone after she has borrowed it for awhile. It's always fun to look through it though!

Making Meals

Katie has very interested in making some of her own meals lately. She wants to be independent.

One of my easy meals is a tortilla with cheese. Yummy!

A Dream Come True

Ever since 2015, if Katie was asked, "Who is the next president that you want to meet?" she has answered, "Hillary Clinton." We recently had the opportunity to go and see Hillary and Chelsea Clinton speak about their new book. Although Katie didn't have the chance to meet her in person, she was very happy to be able to see her!

While we waited for Hillary and Chelsea Clinton, I played games with Aunt Jennifer. 

I always have fun with her! 

 We had the chance to write a question. I decided to ask a non-political question, and I signed Aunt Jennifer's name with mine!

The book they wrote was called, "Gutsy Women." I want to grow up to be like that!

 We sat up in the balcony. 

I'm so happy that I saw them!

Another Missing Tooth

Katie was so excited to get her expander removed from her mouth a couple of weeks ago. When it was removed, she found that one of the teeth that was behind the wire was really lose, and she lost it the same day as her expander was removed.

It's always nice to get some new coins from the tooth fairy!

Ballet Positions

Each week, Katie's ballet positions get a little more perfected.

I never knew how hard it could be to get these positions just right!

A Halloween Accessory

When we were in Disneyland, Katie wore a costume that she got last year for their party. For her Halloween celebration at home, she is going to wear her Audrey costume from Descendants 3. When we returned from our trip, she was so excited to see that her Maleficent scepter had arrived, just like Audrey used in the move.

Now I feel just like Audrey!

A Disney Dress

Katie has always loved the dresses that Disney has that are for adult women. She was so excited when she found some of the dresses in her size. We bought her one, and it just brings happiness!

As soon as we got home, I put my new dress on! 

It is covered in Dole Whips! 

What is not happy about this? 

I just love it!

Moments to Rest

Katie loves to be at Disneyland, but she does a lot of walking and standing at the parks, so she definitely also enjoys her moments of rest at the hotel!

I have all sorts of fun in the hotel, but sometimes I also just rest!

The Inside Out Characters

Katie was so happy to get to meet the Inside Out Characters for the first time. She was lucky enough to meet Joy just as she was getting ready to leave, and then she was able to rejoin the line to meet Sadness. They were both fun!

Joy is one of my favorite characters! 

She makes you feel joy! 

Poor Sadness needed an extra hug! 

She's sort of like the human Eeyore. I hope I brought her some happiness!

Halloween Mickey

Katie is always happy when she gets the chance to see Mickey Mouse. He was very happy, too, when Katie complimented his costume!

I always feel like we're old friends!

Getting Wet

It was pretty warm while we were in Disneyland, so Katie wanted to go on the Grizzly River Run in hopes of getting wet and cooling off. Her wish ended up coming true! It was a fun ride!

You never know what to expect on this ride Sometimes you get a little wet, and sometimes you get drenched! 

We were ready for whatever came our way!

The Mad Tea Party

After meeting up with Kai, Jennifer took Katie and Kai on the teacups before we went our separate ways again.

Once we got in, we made secret plans to spin our teacup fast to make Aunt Jennifer dizzy. 

We thought it was pretty funny! 

We tried hard to make our plan work. It didn't work, but we still had a lot of fun!

Finding a Friend

Although Katie didn't know it, her friend, Kai, was going to be at Disneyland at the same time we were there. Jennifer made arrangements to have Kathy and Kai meet us in the park. Kai came up to us, and said, "Hi, Katie!" She didn't quite know what to do and couldn't really believe it was him. It didn't take long though for them to become their normal selves!

I love all of my friends, especially Kai! 

We thought we might as well play some Rock, Paper, Scissors! 

I really like to win this game. 

Sometimes we tied, but... 

...sometimes I won!

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad View

Katie and Jennifer decided to go on the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad roller coaster, and their roller coaster stopped in the middle of their ride for a bit. They felt lucky because they had a fantastic view while they waited!

When we were stuck, we had a good view... 

...in every direction!

Katie doesn't really want anymore Mickey Mouse ears, but she sure has fun trying them on!

Going on a Drive

The next morning, Jennifer went with Katie on Autopia. Katie wanted Jennifer to drive the car, but Jennifer convinced Katie that she should have the honors!

My mom and grandma were watching us as we drove by!

Driving makes me nervous, but I did better this time than last time!

The Halloween Party

That night, we went to the Halloween Party and had so much fun! We saw a parade, a light show, went trick-or-treating, and saw some rarely-seen villains.

 I was excited to head back to the parks in my costume. I went to the party dressed as Uma from The Descendants. She is Ursula's daughter.

We were ready for the Oogie Boogie Bash! 

After going trick-or-treating and getting lots and lots of candy and fruit, I got ready to watch the Halloween parade. My favorite part was the headless horseman! 

 Everywhere we went, we saw Halloween decorations! 

We liked this car dressed as a spider! 

We really liked seeing the villains out. It was the first time we had seen Maleficent! My mom and Aunt Jennifer were most excited to see King Leonidas from The Island of Naboombu from Bedknobs and Broomsticks, one of their favorite movies.
