The Haircut

Katie's hair doesn't look that different now, but she has some small changes.

I'm growing my bangs out, and I added some longer layers by my face.

Time for a Haircut

It had been awhile since Katie's last haircut, so it was time to go.

I decided to make a couple of small changes with this haircut.

A New Smile

The braces came off, and now Katie has to wear a retainer full time for three months. After that, it will be retainer at nighttime only.

My teeth are so smooth!

Bye Bye Braces

Katie was so excited when she found out last month that she would get her braces off on her next visit.

Sometimes, but not too often, you can find all four of our cats together.

Thirteen Years Ago

Thirteen years ago, I saw Katie's face for the first time. It was just a picture, and I wouldn't meet her for another three months, but it was still so exciting.

This was the first glance I saw, and it was perfect!

A Snapchat Valentine's Day

We had a happy Valentine's Day!

The Next Day

The next day we went on another walk. This time Katie was in even more of a hurry to get to the house first.

A Walk

When we go out on walks, sometimes Katie likes to go ahead of us so she can get to the house first.

Nothing personal, but sometimes I just want to get back so I walk fast.

Getting the Goods

We go to a local rancher at the farmer's market for our hamburger. We are so glad that they are available for us year-round, so we can get hamburger whenever we need it.

We were hoping to find more, but we just walked away with meat this time.

A Beautiful Day

It was the perfect day to visit the farmer's market.

There were a lot of people with the same idea as us.

Dance Night

Katie loves her small dance class. It's a group of three girls, and they all get along well.

We have been working on learning a new dance.

We have a small water reservoir behind our house, and when we are lucky, the ducks visit.

Preparing for Lunar New Year

It has become somewhat of a tradition to get Katie a little stuffed animal to represent the new Lunar New Year. This year, I gave it to her just a little early.

Wilson was feeling a little down one night after Gilbert ate all the food. Katie made sure to give him extra attention.
