A few weeks ago, we discovered that our dishwasher was leaking and water had leaked under our floors and through the ceiling in the basement. We hated the thought of all of the time in front of us as we fixed the house, but we are getting through it one step at a time. Last week, the water damage people came to dry out our house and to rip out any wet material. To dry it out, we have lots of heavy duty and loud fans running all day long. The cats were a little scared when they first saw what had happened to their house, but with some extra attention, they are now pretty comfortable even with the noise.
As soon as Mr. Limpet saw that his house looked different, he ran upstairs.
It took General Washington a few days to get brave enough to step on our main floor.
After he got brave enough, he has been making up for the lack of attention.
I love making them feel better!
