There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.
This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

Year of the Rat
Katie asked if she could share a bit about Chinese New Year with her class, so she read as much as she could about the holiday and watched a couple of shows about it. She was so excited about it!
We ordered some Chinese "coins of good fortune" that I shared with my classmates. I also took some of my books in to teach them some facts.
My mom also gave me this cute rat that I shared with my class!
