Red Thread...

There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.

This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

Katie's Exciting Day

On Wednesday, Katie had a particularly exciting day. She started by helping to build her tallest tower yet out of Mega Blocks! When she would put the tall stack of blocks on top of the building, she would cheer and clap for herself. Then she would do it again and cheer and clap again.

Yeah, Me!

Later in the day, my mom and Katie were watching squirrels and rabbits out of our side window. Then they saw a weird-looking cat with a short tail walk down the road by the side of our house. Katie started talking/yelling at the cat the same way that she does to Bingle and then she started meowing. They moved to the back window to keep watching the cat as it moved down by our "pond" and sat down to give itself a bath.

When Jennifer and I got home, we got an update of the cat. Jennifer grabbed the binoculars to look at it and saw that it had huge paws. She decided it couldn't be a domestic cat. I took some pictures of it, and later we looked on the Internet to try to find out what it was. It was a bobcat!  Luckily our new friend, the bobcat, isn't around much!

After bath time, Katie practiced her climbing and balancing act!

Look at me!
