Red Thread...

There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.

This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

No Way!

As I have pointed out, Katie gets very excited about finding pictures of presidents - on money, in books, on TV…anywhere. One night, she was reading a Barbie book to me. She turned the page to find Ken and one of his friends. She looked and said, "No way! Ken knows Obama!" She was so excited until she read the words and saw that Ken's friend wasn't Obama. It was only a look-a-like.

I was hoping it was you, President Obama!
