There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.
This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

Breakfast at the Hotel
I decided to take Katie for the free breakfast at our hotel one morning, and she was so excited to see a pancake maker.
I couldn't believe it. This machine made pancakes at the push of a button!
After I pushed the button, I waited sort of patiently.
Then out popped a pancake! Unfortunately, the pancakes weren't the tastiest, but they were fun to make!
