Red Thread...

There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.

This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

The House of the Seven Gables

After learning about the witch trials, we walked over to The House of the Seven Gables, the setting of Nathaniel Hawthorne's novel. We didn't have time to get the tour through the house, but we were able to explore the grounds.

While we were walking to the house, Aunt Jennifer and I decided we needed to get a picture with this witch!

This was the house that we didn't tour through. There were other buildings on the property that we could go through though.

The house had really pretty gardens with beautiful flowers!

I liked the arch of bushes behind Grandma!

I decided to try out the bell on this play boat.

I also tried the spy glass in one of the houses.

We had fun exploring!

Even with clouds, it was a beautiful setting!
