Katie was excited to have a piece of the pumpkin pie since she had helped to make the filling. When she finished, I looked at her plate and laughed, thinking of my dad. Just like him, Katie ate the filling and left all of the crust!
I don't know why I'd want to mix the taste of crust with the delicious middle of the pie!
