Red Thread...

There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.

This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

A Bookmark Contest

As part of the Book Fair at the school, there was a bookmark contest for the students. Katie decided she wanted to take part. When she heard the theme of the Book Fair was "Bookaneers," she knew right away that she wanted to draw a parrot. She then knew she wanted to add a treasure box with books in it. She ended up doing a really nice job!

I was proud of the bookmark I created! It was fun!
