There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.
This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

A Love of Jewelry
One day, I was busy talking while Katie was in her room. When I went in to find her, she was so happy and proud to show me what she had been up to.
I decided to wear my crown, wings, cape, tutu, necklace, and lots and lots of bracelets.
When I got downstairs, I spread all of my jewelry out.
