Red Thread...

There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.

This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

After the Play

After Annie, we decided to go out to eat. On the walk to dinner, we passed several parks that had statues and plaques that Katie wanted to see. Katie was walking with Jennifer, and she asked Jennifer to read all of the words on each one. "Look! There's another story!"

I chose to walk with Aunt Jennifer for many reasons - one being that I like to walk by umbrellas.

I was excited to hear the quote from Thomas Jefferson on the statue behind me!

We read about this area too. It was a tribute to the Oklahoma City bombings. In the far background, there was a huge rock from a lake in China! I didn't know we had a sister city in China!
