Red Thread...

There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.

This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

Nighttime Phone Calls

Last week, Katie's Barbie phone kept "ringing" when it was time for her to go to bed. Who was calling her? Donald Trump, of course. From what I gather from her side of the conversation, here are the three things that were discussed in each call.

1. Donald Trump was trying to convince her that he was greater than all. (She wasn't buying it.)
2. Katie was teaching Donald Trump some nice things he could say to people.
3. Katie was telling Donald Trump not to call her anymore.

"Is that you again, Donald Trump?" 

"You need to start using nice words when you talk about other people."
