Pumpkin Decorating

Katie really wanted to paint her pumpkin this year instead of carving it. I looked up how to paint Halloween pumpkins in an easy and cute way, but Katie let me know that she already knew what she wanted to do.

My mom said I could paint my pumpkin out on the deck. 

Before the paint came out, I practiced my strokes. 

I knew I wanted to use a lot of different colors for my design. 

I was so excited to have my first dip of paint, and... 

…to make to first marks! 

I was very careful with each stroke I took. 

It was a good thing that Garyldine gave me about 50 paint brushes! 

The last thing I did was to paint the stem. 

It was perfect! 

I could even make a face like my pumpkin!
