On Strike

This year, our school year was delayed by two weeks because the teachers were on strike. Katie was ready to start school, but to pass the time, she joined me on the picket line for a few of the days. She thought the picketing was pretty boring, but she loved spending time with her friends who were out there with her.

I liked to look at the delay of school as one big play date!
