A Play Date

Garyldine invited Katie to her house last week for a play date with a son of a friend. Katie had met Elijah before and had always liked him, but it had been awhile since she had seen him. It didn't take them very much time to discover that they still had fun together. I was told that they laughed a lot together, and by the time I got home, Katie couldn't quit talking about Elijah.

Elijah decided to take a quick nap when I got to Garyldine's. He was silly! 

We got to go to Garyldine's playground, and Elijah climbed up high pretty fast! 

We had fun playing together.

Then Elijah got a scratch. 

I checked to make sure he was okay.  

We decided to hide and tell secrets. 

It was so much fun! 

After that, we took a walk to Starbucks. 

I love Starbucks!

Finally, we laughed together as we enjoyed some pumpkin bread.
