Red Thread...

There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.

This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

A Play Date with Kai

When Katie was on her winter break, she got invited to go bowling and play arcade games with Kai. She was so happy!

We went bowling first and had to pick our teams.

Then we started bowling.

The ball was really heavy like our PE balls. Kai and I shared a ball!

I didn't knock over a lot of pins, but I had fun!

When we were in the middle of the game, we got a picture together.

After our game finished, we got one more picture and started doing some other things.

Our first game was air hockey.

After that, we tried this dancing game. It was so hard!

After a few games, Kai wanted to do more air hockey.

He wanted to do every air hockey game.

On this game, we had to try to toss the balls in the targets.

Next we played Space Invaders.

The controller was shaking a lot!

There were so many bonus points.

 Kai was working hard!

After, we played Ninja Slice. Kai kept crashing onto bombs on purpose!

Then we settled down for a race car game.

This was my favorite game!

We had to destroy things in our path!

It was like Yettis and monsters that were trying to attack us.

After that, we played Jurassic World. It was kind of like the same thing we played before but with dinosaurs.

This was Kai's favorite game. It was kind of like a roller coaster.

When we finished playing games, we got to pick out prizes with the tickets we earned!

When we left, we had one more stop to go!

We got some yummy hot chocolate! Thanks for taking us, Kathy! I loved it!
