There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.
This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

The Nutcracker
The day after seeing her friend in the play, Katie and I were invited to a local performance of The Nutcracker. Another one of Katie's friends was performing in the ballet.
We had time before the ballet to look carefully through the program.
I was excited to see another friend on stage!
She did such a good job! I'm so happy her family invited us!
