Red Thread...

There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.

This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

Choosing Books

At the end of Spring Break, I took Katie to an outlet book store and told her she could choose two books. She was so excited to find a patriotic section in the kid's books. The two books she chose were, "The Star Spangled Banner" and "You're a Grand Old Flag." Once she had the books, she did lots of singing.

I learned "You're a Grand Old Flag" in my music class this year, so I was most excited with that book!

I love having pictures to go along with the song!
