Red Thread...

There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.

This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

Back to Seattle

On Saturday morning, we arrived back in Seattle. At that point, we just wanted to get back on land and make it home the rest of the way. Our trip was great, but the comforts of home were calling. We were assigned specific times to disembark. My parents were getting off the ship at 8:30, and the rest of us had to wait until 9:15. It seemed like a really long morning even though it wasn't. Katie, Jennifer, and I sat on the Lido Deck and watched out the window longingly at the people getting off the ship before us. Overall though, the process was very well organized, so I guess the wait was worth it.

I was starting to feel stuck on this ship.

We watched all of the people leaving the ship as we waited on the Lido Deck.

Even though this was a long morning, it was a fun trip!
