Red Thread...

There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.

This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

Reading

When I was in the basement with Katie, she decided to get some of Aunt Jennifer's old Nancy Drew books from her "library." She sat down with the Nancy Drew books and read to me. According to Katie, each new page in the book starts as, "One day,…" Also in her version, Christopher Robin, Winnie the Pooh, and the 100-acre Wood are the stars of the book.

One day, Christopher Robin met Winnie the Pooh in the 100-acre Wood.
