Red Thread...

There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.

This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

Enjoying the Tree

After the Christmas tree was put up and the house was cleaned up, Katie had time to enjoy all of the decorations.

I found a cute, little dove to play with for awhile.

My new bird friend was very calm compared to my other pets!

It made its way back to the tree with the other birds.

My mom made me take a picture in front of the tree before the dogs discovered it.

When we were cleaning the house, I found this stick that I had picked up on a walk. It made the perfect perch for this cardinal.

I asked my mom to take this picture of me with some of my favorite ornaments and boxes.

I thought the deer ornament might like to read a few of my books.

After I put my pajamas on, I got to turn off all of the lights in the house and leave the tree lit. Aunt Jennifer quizzed me on the ornaments. I counted the birds, the bows, the Barbie ornaments, the puff balls, and the deer. It was fun!
