Red Thread...

There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.

This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

A New Treat

Katie was so happy to see that we had gotten another fresh vegetable tray to enjoy with dinner. Well, in Katie's case, vegetables are usually her whole dinner when they're at hand.

Like always, Katie enjoyed the tomatoes, broccoli, and carrots. She decided to try the snow peas again. She hadn't liked them the last time. Once again, she didn't like them and spit out everything.  When Aunt Jennifer showed her that she could open the peas lengthwise, Katie tried to eat the individual peas that she found inside, and with that, she found a new favorite treat. She couldn't get enough of the peas!

I know I've already eaten a big pile of peas, but I want more! 

Thank you, Aunt Jennifer! 

This is the best treat ever!
