Red Thread...

There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.

This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

Looking for Animals

Katie likes to ask us to go on a walk to look for animals. She's not talking about a walk outside. She's talking about a walk inside the house. On these walks, she usually has some sort of kitchen utensil for herself and for her walking partner. Sometimes the utensils are for digging imaginary holes or for swatting imaginary flies. Other times, they are just fun accessories.

She usually always finds Chloe and Bingle on her animal walks, but she also finds imaginary animals. We often have a monkey dangling from our ceiling, fish swimming in our stairwell, or an alligator swimming by the front door.

I found a dog! Right there!

Now I found a cat!

I used my mom's camera to take pictures of my animals. Here's a glowing red Bingle...

…and here's a sleepy Chloe.
