Red Thread...

There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.

This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

The Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate

After we left the Kennedy Library, we walked next door to visit the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate. One of the most impressive parts in there is a replica of the U.S. Senate chambers. We toured through that area and also watched a reenactments of a debate there. The other part Katie enjoyed seeing was the replica of Senator Kennedy's office in Washington D.C..

When we got into the Senate Chamber, I found where one of my senators would sit.

We got to enjoy some time in the empty chamber before the debate began.
