Red Thread...

There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.

This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

Just Like Grandma

Katie found her old chair in the basement and decided that she wanted it upstairs, so she could play in it. She was sitting next to my mom as she read the newspaper. Soon, Katie spotted a pig on the newspaper and she had to have it, so she could read the article. She got even more excited to find the crossword puzzle since she watches my mom complete it every day.

I feel kind of grown-up with a newspaper to read. 

I love doing crossword puzzles just like Grandma. 

No wonder she takes the time to do them.
