Red Thread...

There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that there is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives.

This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

The Magic of Snow

On New Year's Eve, we got a little bit of snow. Just like most people are, Katie was drawn to the magical quality of snow and ran straight to the window to watch the snowflakes drifting to the ground. It made her so happy. I took some pictures of her looking at the snow, but unfortunately, you can't really see the snowflakes in the picture.

After she watched the snow from the window for a little while, we took her out on a walk in the snow. She automatically started trying to catch snowflakes on her tongue. We thought it was funny because none of us remember teaching her that. Maybe she saw it somewhere.

The snow didn't last long, but it was fun while it was here!

Look at those snowflakes out there! 

I love the snow! 

It's so peaceful. 

I'm trying to catch a snowflake.
